Circle of Security Private or Online Group Sessions
It is common for parents to wonder if they are getting it right. Especially when our efforts to stop difficult behaviors through timeouts, spanking, ignoring, or yelling doesn’t work. It may feel that despite our best intentions, something gets in the way.
Circle of Security is where parenting finally makes sense.
Difficult behavior is your child trying to express a need. Understanding what those needs are helps you be in a better position to support your child through a wide variety of emotions. By recognizing and addressing your child’s needs, you are showing them that they matter and that you deeply care about their well-being.
With circle of security parenting™ program, you will have the tools you need to raise calm, confident and content kids. This, in turn, will help your child grow into a resilient and well-adjusted adult.
Ideal for caregivers of children 0 - 18 years old. Designed to help you:
- Understand your child’s emotional world
- Read emotional needs and cues
- Support your child’s ability to successfully manage their emotions
nurture self esteem - Honor the child’s innate wisdom and desire to feel secure and connected
Course Length
Course duration is 8 hours over a two day period. Individual sessions are also available as needed.
Course Location
Offering online classes or in-person in Calgary and Cochrane.
Cost
$200 per private session or $70 per person/per group session. Sliding scale fees available for qualifying families.
